Wyldwood

Fifteen years of hard work and planning ruined by a fuzzy sorcerer and an old as dirt rosebush. Oh, and FAMILY.

Forced into a magical contract betrothal by her father, Keely finds herself entangled with a mostly man-shaped problem.  She's trapped on a secluded magical estate in the boondocks of 1910 Kentucky, with a not quite human suitor who does not even have a name.

Keely tries to get along until she can convince HIM she is NOT THE ONE and return to her mundane life and open her own horse stables. 

Is it a battle of wills or a path of discover and revelations that she may not wish to confront?  Suddenly thrust into a magical world, Keely finds things are not what they seem with her own family and with the compelling man beast.

Inspired by La Belle et la Bête, Wyldwood is set in alternate reality/realm 1910 Kentucky.  Wyldwood is a speculative fiction romance (what if) in the magical realism and fantasy/paranormal adjacent subgenres.
